The club has the opportunity
to sign an
overseas player of good 1stXI standard for the 2012 season at no
cost to the club. We do however need to find him lodgings for the summer
season (April/May to September). If you think you could put him up and
would like further details, please contact Leigh Walker (leigh.walker@teachsport.org).
To all Club members
It is with great sadness that I have to
inform you all that we have lost our President, Bill Bassett, as the
result of a serious car accident on Friday 18 November 2011 at 11.30 AM.
The accident was in the vicinity of McDonald’s Restaurant on Bromley
Common. Bill passed away later that evening in King’s College Hospital
after suffering serious head injuries. We believe that the driver of the
vehicle was arrested at the scene of the accident.
Our thoughts and best wishes go out to all
of Bill’s family and friends. He will I know be greatly missed by all of
us at Bromley Common Cricket Club.
